Gardening tips for life part 2
What’s choking you?
Last time I shared a little about pruning that I learned from my gardening experience. This time I want to share another gardening tip that can also apply to everyday life.
I love my garden. It really is a stress relieving activity. It is a way to spend time with and teach my daughter, who is growing up loving her garden. It is a great alternative to buying produce from the store. But it is not all fun and games.
I hate weeding.
The bad thing is if I don’t pull the weeds, they will soon overtake my plants. The weeds take the same resources that my plants do, but those resources are wasted. The weeds steal the nutrients from the soil. They steal the water that my plants would use. And the weeds produce nothing of benefit. If they were left on their own, they would choke out and kill my plants.
